Thom Browne Tokyo Flagship Store Opening

Thom Browne is set to open his first standalone boutique outside the U.S. The brand’s Tokyo flagship, which is set to open its doors on Saturday, March 16th, is located in the city’s fashionable district of Aoyama, where its neighbours include the likes of Acne, Undercover, Marc Jacobs and Prada. Inside, the store covers an area of over 400 sq.m spread accross three floors. Blinds cover the windows between each room, and a center wall of brushed brass anchors the staircase, which is a signature design of all Thom Browne retail spots. The interior was designed by Wonderwall, Japan based interior design company led by Masamichi Katayama, who worked on Bape Stores around the globe, as well as Colette in Paris, and several other high-profile retail stores worldwide. The store will stock complete menswear and womenswear ranges, and will also include an area in the basement for his made-to-measure service. Adjacent to this will be a small bar where customers can relax and enjoy their drink.
